Resimax Group Sells Stage One of Eynesbury Village, Marking Start of Town Centre Delivery

Resimax Group has sold the first of four stages of Eynesbury Village to developer-builder Oreana for approximately $14 million. The sale progresses the staged delivery of the first retail and commercial precinct with Resimax Group’s 8-hectare Eynesbury development. Eynesbury Village will provide essential services to the township’s fast-growing local community.

Stage 1 of Eynesbury Village will comprise 7,500 square metres of gross floor area and be anchored by a 3,460 square metre full-line Coles supermarket, with construction anticipated to commence in 2026.

Ozzie Kheir, Founder and Managing Director at Resimax Group, said the sale to Oreana represents a continuation of the partnership between the two companies, and a key milestone in the delivery of the Eynesbury township’s long-term masterplan.

“Oreana was selected to deliver Stage 1 of Eynesbury Village based on their proven expertise in delivering retail and commercial assets across Melbourne’s growth corridors.

“As the scale of the precinct has evolved alongside the rapid growth of the Eynesbury community, we saw an opportunity to bring in a specialist operator to lead this stage. The Village will deliver essential services and amenities tailored to the needs of residents and play a key role in supporting the next phase of the township’s development.

“Resimax Group remains closely involved in overseeing the project’s progress and is committed to supporting the development of the township to ensure its long-term success. This approach allows us to focus on delivering the broader masterplan, while working alongside Oreana to achieve practical, high-quality outcomes that benefit the community,” said Ozzie.

The first stage is proposed to include a mix of tenancies to meet the daily needs of Eynesbury residents, such as specialty stores, food and beverage outlets, a medical centre and pharmacy, a gym, and a childcare centre.

Oreana Managing Director Tony Sass said the purchase complemented Oreana’s large pipeline of local shopping centre developments and integrated childcare facilities, designed to deliver essential amenity to growing communities.

“Oreana has built its reputation by delivering the kind of amenity that makes a daily difference to people’s lives – retail, childcare and essential services that support thriving, connected communities,” he said.

“Eynesbury Village is no different. It’s been designed not just to meet the day-to-day needs of locals, but to act as a catalyst for economic activity, job creation and community connection.

“This acquisition marks the beginning of a strategic partnership with Resimax Group, one that’s rooted in a shared vision for long-term, sustainable community growth. By working closely together, we’re ensuring that Stage 1 of Eynesbury Village is not just a retail development, but a neighbourhood centre that’s deeply integrated into the fabric of Eynesbury and reflective of its future.”

Since acquiring Eynesbury in 2020, Resimax Group has invested significantly in enabling infrastructure, amenities and community assets across the precinct. These include the delivery of Mt Mary Road, Eynesbury Golf Course, a primary school and childcare centre, and key works contributing to the township’s long-term social and economic development.

“We maintain a long-term investment in Eynesbury that goes well beyond delivering housing. We are committed to ensuring infrastructure is delivered, services are in place, and the community has what it needs to thrive well into the future.

“This next phase of the Eynesbury masterplan aligns with our vision for creating a connected and sustainable community in Melbourne’s western growth corridor,” said Mr Kheir.

Future stages of Eynesbury Village will introduce additional commercial space, conference facilities, and expanded entertainment and community amenities.

Eynesbury Village forms a key aspect of the wider masterplan, including a proposed luxury hotel and conference centre, world-class day spa, open spaces and walking trails, and mountain bike tracks designed by World Trail.
